Frequently asked questions

Do you sell to individuals? Our website is a catalogue and we work mainly with wholesale and project buyers. If you are buying for a home, enquire anyway — we will advise the best route.

Can you customise designs, sizes and finishes? Yes. Most pieces can be made to order in different dimensions, colours and finishes, and many designs are available in more than one material — for example the same chair in natural rattan or rattan & steel.

What materials do you work with? Natural rattan, rattan with iron or stainless steel, wood and teak, water hyacinth, seagrass, banana fibre and loom weave.

What are your minimum order quantities? They vary by product. Tell us what you need — for container orders we will help you plan the mix.

Can I order samples first? Yes, and we recommend it. Samples can be sent by air freight — we are 9 km from Solo's Adi Sumarmo Airport.

Can I visit the workshop? Please do. We are in Trangsan village, Gatak, Sukoharjo — one of Indonesia's rattan-weaving centres, about an hour from Yogyakarta. Tell us when you are coming.

Is everything really handmade? Yes. Frames are bent and woven by hand by craftspeople in Trangsan, where the skill has been passed down for generations. We have worked this way since 1990.

How do I get a price list? Send an enquiry with the pieces you are interested in — we reply with current wholesale pricing.
